Your challenge

We are looking for an Accounting Technician with relevant experience in the field:

  • Customer accounts: billings, cashing and accounts receivable
  • Accounts payable: supplier billing and payments
  • Payroll management, expense accounts, employee files, leaves, DAS, labor standards
  • Monthly bookkeeping
  • Accounting and registering transactions
  • Preparation of TPS/TVQ reports
  • Preparation of internal financial statements
  • Monthly bank reconciliation
  • Monthly depreciation expense calculation
  • Follow-up of prepaid expenses
  • Intercompany transactions
  • Participate in the analysis of accounting accounts

Occasionally, you will be required to participate in administrative activities as per internal needs: managing reception, office/working spaces and planning social activities.

You will contribute to the improvement of work tools and processes in order to make them more efficient.

Qualifications and skills

The ideal candidate will know how to establish priorities, possess strong communication skills and be autonomous and detail oriented while maintaining confidentiality.

  • College diploma in administration in accounting or equivalent experience;
  • Mastery of the full accounting cycle – minimum of 5 years relevant experience;
  • Knowledge of Simple Comptable accounting software and the MS Office suite;
  • Excellent client approach, ability to work independently, versatility, ability to easily communicate and work within a team, open-mindedness, dynamism, professionalism and concern for quality;
  • Focused on innovation while challenging the status quo;
  • Superior planning and organizational skills with a disciplined mindset;
  • Resourcefulness and attention to detail;
  • Ability to adapt to the multitasking context of an SME, to take the necessary decisions at the right time, and to work under tight deadlines;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English (bilingualism required);
  • Asset – Experience in the areas of construction or engineering consultation.
