Building Mechanical Technician

Your challenge

In collaboration with the engineer, technician and designer teams, your main responsibility will be to participate in the design and development of plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for various projects according to our clients’ needs.

You will also take part in service proposals, attend start-up and coordination meetings, and conduct worksite surveys and visits, as well as contribute to improving work tools and processes in order to make them more efficient.

You will be a key player in the support and development of the mechanical department.

Qualifications and skills

  • College diploma (DEC) or certificate in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of (8) years’ experience in project engineering management and development in a consulting environment;
  • Excellent client approach, ability to work independently, versatility, ability to easily communicate and work within a team, open-mindedness, dynamism, professionalism and quality orientation
  • Focused on innovation while challenging the status quo;
  • Superior planning and organizational skills with a disciplined mindset
  • Able to adapt to the multitasking context of an SME, to take necessary decisions at the right time, and to work under tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of the National Building Code and other building codes, knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English (bilingualism required)
